According to latest reports, Arsenal have stepped up their plans over an audacious loan deal to sign Denis Suarez Malcom before transfer deadline day on Thursday.

The Gunners have held extensive talks with the Spanish side over a move for midfielder Denis Suarez and also  for Brazilian attacker Malcom has become a top target for the gunners. Despite talks with the Spanish champions over a deal for Denis Suarez as Unai Emery is willing to sign the 25-year-old, who has verbally agreed to join Arsenal, but the two are yet agreed on the terms of the transfer.

According to information gathered by our sports correspondents @gistmaniac, Arsenal will intensify their pursuit of the 21-year-old and are ready to tackle any developments over the coming days. Malcom has not had enough playtime at this season, but with the club hierarchy still seeing a long term future at the Nou Camp they could lend him to Unai Emery until the end of the season.

Barcelona signed the Brazilian from Bordeaux last transfer window for £36.5 million, but he has only played 147 minutes in the local division and the Champions League this season and has mainly been restricted to the Copa Del Rey appearances. Barcelona are undecided over the South American’s long-term future but would accept a £50 million offer or a loan deal for the winger to be given a chance to impress.

The La Liga giants want to sell Denis Suarez before the end of January, but Arsenal don’t have the funds to permanently sign the Spaniard and can only manage a loan deal.

Arsenal have now made a late approach to sign Malcom along with Denis Suarez before next week’s deadline.

Also Arsenal have launched a late bid to sign the Croatia international Ivan Perisic, who was Jose Mourinho main target last summer, but the move broke down with the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward unwilling to meet the Serie A club’s £45 million valuation.

Manchester United were again linked with a move for the long-term target earlier this week, but Arsenal are set to move for the former Borussia Dortmund man.
